Writing is thinking

Recently my wife and I were walking and I said this phrase I keep coming back to.

Writing is thinking.

I don’t think this idea is my idea, I am pretty sure I heard it from somewhere else, but I don’t think that really matters. Writing is a very interesting activity because it is both communication and thinking. Other people are reading these words and reacting to them sure, but also writing them requires me to put things into words which makes me think about what I am saying. Then most of us re-write things and word them better because we realize the idea was incomplete.
